This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a subscription.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a subscription.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
This is a summer that i wont soon forget, Ive been trying to get a job for the past two days an d its a long way from being over. Now I need to find a way to push my photography, which is one of the hardest things to get underway as an artist. The region that i live in doesn't really help much due to its lack of True Art Galleries. Other than all that jazz I have been very happy as usual, not a lot of complaints.
The other thing I should mention is that the smaller JPEG file is heavily sharpened, so things will naturally look like they are in 'focus' - the focus does begin to fade by the time you reach the third boat in the original RAW file.
Hey - thanks for the comment, I'm glad you took the time out to look at that photo!
The thing you have to remember about f-stops is that they vary from types of cameras. Traditional 35mm will stop down around f22, but a compact camera stops down around f8 (which is similar to f22). So it was indeed at f4, but stopped down halfway for that particular camera. I've jumped around with a few cameras over the years - most of them have been 35mm, but a couple are compact digitals - including the Olympus C8080 that was used for that particular shot.
interesting...i had no idea that it varried from one 35mm to the next...i only thought that it varried between medium format cameras and large format camers from the 35mm camera. large format goes to f64 and i also know its really great for close up subjects....not macro... i mean like 1 foot away subjects and medium format cameras, which by the way is what class i am taking now in college, make it a little easyier to get closer to your subject where as for a 35mm you cant really get any closer that 3 feet and be in focus, unless you have a special lens or a macro lens, i have 3 35mm cameras, a Dakota 35mm 1985 model a nikon rs 35mm 1990 model its RARE JUMMY Rare cameras :L. and a Minolta 430si RZ so yeah i have a few 35mm. getting a medium format camera next month and in 3 months a large format camera ...if money holds out... but with all 3 of my 35mm's the fstops seem to give me the same deepth in the darkroom...and it is very visible on silver prints....i will soon be uploading my work that ive been doing while at college.. much much better than my work that i played with in highschool on a Digital.
